If you haven’t already – check out Nadav Kander’s site – and his recent work (nod to Daryl Land at PDN for featuring this)- he is widely accepted to be one of the most influential commercial (and fine art) photographers today. Not only is he a great person to meet (he’s one of the photographers my agent Stockland Martel represents) – he’s also managed to accomplish a rare thing these days: to balance the needs of his commercial clients without losing his own personal vision and style. I am a huge fan of his work and very much look up to him. Check out “The Parade” under his “work” category and pretty mush anything else on his site.

Love your images, a lot of the aerials look like pictures of model sets. Also I just read the cloud is falling article, well written you bring up many point that also ring true in the photography industry. I agree in needing to stand back and see the big picture and needing to stay ahead of the curve…since DSLRs are getting cheaper and better, everyone is selling DVD to shoot better and get better light, and you can buy actions from some of the tops in the business. Good luck!

You may get excellent information / advice – but you still need to work your butt off (that’s something everyone forgets to mention!)
